My web development work has brought me into many industries. I have worked for companies in the financial sector, retail sector and travel industry as well as internet service providers, engineering firms, solicitors and many small businesses.
Although I have worked on many different projects, from form-based applications to Windows services, my passion is the internet and I love the speed at which things change on the web. Despite major technology changes that are mainly evident to technical people, form-applications still look largely the same as they did years ago to the actual users; the internet though has visibly transformed several times in the same period.
As well as developing websites, I also run an internet consultancy to help clients with various aspects of running and promoting their existing web pages. This ranges from usability advice to search engine optimisation and online advertising campaigns.
