Web Projects

On the whole, I split my development projects between corporate work in the financial industry, web work for small organisations and custom projects for my own ideas, or those of my friends.

I also do odd jobs for friends when they need my expertise to fulfil a specific requirement.

Although I work on form-applications and components, my passion is the internet and I love the speed at which things change in the web world. Despite major technology changes that are obvious to the technical people, form-applications still look largely the same as the did years ago to the actual users; the internet though has transformed several times in the same period.

I like to take a technology agnostic approach when it comes to the internet. It's quite common for people to start off knowing that they want to use a certain product, language or technology and when that happens things start to get crow-barred into place. When you start by talking about the goals of the website, you can choose the technologies that best suit those goals later on.
