I liked The Dawn Chorus quite a lot when I heard the track 'Act Of God' from one of their early EPs. They then grew on me with a live performance at Southampton's Town Quay.

By the time their album, The Big Adventure, arrived, I was an avid fan of their unique sound.

Any band that can discard a song like 'Blast From The Present' to the end of an album are just pure genius and they keep delivering tracks of such high quality.

The Dawn Chorus won the award for Best Record at the 2008 Mag Awards, for their Town / City EP.
