Great Bands

Dazed and confused? If you arrived here looking for The Mag then you didn't know that it retired in April 2012 - sorry about that.

I've reviewed hundreds of bands and there have been a lot of good and bad records and performances. The bands mentioned here are the bands I've been really impressed by. This isn't a list of bands I think will make it big, but it is a list of bands who ought to and that I think are worth listening to.

I would like to thank all the people who reviewed bands with me, especially ace photographer Mark Holloway who not only supplied awesome photographs but also obtained the most awesome opportunities to get exclusive access to bands like Delays.

Why TypeScript Interfaces Can Extend Classes

When I originally discovered that TypeScript interfaces can extend classes, I thought it was novel but lacking in real-world usages. At the time, I had a solution with no problem so for the sake of argument I tried to imagine what the problem might be. Perhaps you could point an interface at a third party class to ensure that your swappable implementation stayed in step with any changes to the original. Not a compelling reason to use this feature by any means.
