As far as I can remember, Brussel Spaceship were the first live band I ever saw. They were being supported by Steve Temple and the Prudent Moves. Brussel Spaceship(later known as Brussel) were a stunning band with some insanely good songs.

I was introduced to the band just as they released Norman's Big Surprise, so those songs will always have a soft spot with me. My favourite record, though, was Slowdown, which really captured their live sound and also featured their best tracks, 'Flourescent Hat' and 'Going Home'.
