Windows 7 Rocks

I have been using Windows 7 in anger for a week now and I have to say that it rocks. I'm running several versions of Visual Studio to develop applications and websites, so I'm talking about light usage of a machine here!

It definitely looks like they have spent time on every aspect of this version. The task bar is slick, tabbing between windows is really nice and everything seems to be more productive thanks to clever visual clues.

I must admit, I never really had the problems that other people reported about Vista and haven't actually found anyone who can describe them to me first hand - but Windows 7 is really awesome. It certainly beats developing on Windows XP or even Windows Server machines.

Taming The Chaos With Kanban

Chaos is the dominant force in a great many workplaces. It can happen because a company has grown fast, or because things weren't originally done in the right way or any number of other reasons - but chaos is a common result.

You can normally judge the level of chaos by the number of heroes. The worse things get, the more knights in shining armour you need to save the day.
