I have written a jQuery Plugin that converts your website footer into a fixed position footer glued to the bottom of the browser window. It can also be used to display a series of articles taken from an RSS feed and you can optionally make the footer slightly transparent to give it a classy glass-effect (especially if you combine it with a tasty background image).

You can read all about it and view a live demo on my jQuery Constant Footer page.

This plugin is ideal if you want to put your contact details in the footer of your page and have it always visible, no matter how much scrolling your visitor performs. It's also handy if you have a website with lots of fresh content being published as it can highlight new things to your visitor that they otherwise might miss out on.

I will probably be adding this very plugin to my website reasonably soon to display my latest blog entries unobtrusively at the bottom of each page!
