Windows Server 2003 Patch Causes Service Unavailable in IIS...
In December, we had a problem on our development machines. Despite making no changes to a website, we were receiving "Service Unavailable" errors for all requests in IIS. This affected everything, with not even images or static pages being browse-able.
The only change on the server was that a series of patches had been installed, dated 9th December. Removing these patches got IIS back to life, but this is obviously not the best solution to the problem.
