So you're stood next to the Houses of Parliment and you want to find out a bit more about it. You've got your mobile phone handy - so you could do a quick search on Google. How boring though - you have to type and that's too much like hard work.

Not to worry though - Google have just released Goggles. It's an android application that lets you take a photo to perform a search. So you open Goggles, snap the clock-tower and get results about Big Ben.

Of course, that's not really why it's useful (in fact, the usefulness is a bit limited) - but it is rather good at searching based on barcodes, book covers and logo's as well as landmarks - and it's a lot of fun to try.
