Get To Know Your Social Audience

These days, social media is rather fragmented. Each individual has to decide where they want to hang out, whether it be Twitter, Facebook, MySpace (it still exists), Google+ or any one of a massive list of potential online haunts. Quite often, the selection is based on where your real-life friends are hanging out, so if they are mostly on Twitter, you'll join up there to get involved in the conversation, or if they are mostly on Facebook then that is where you'll head.

Yes, Beta 2 of Internet Explorer 8 is now out and it's got some nice features (some were even nice enough to prompt a new plugin for Firefox to make sure it keeps up!)

So here's the thing - how many people will have it. There are still people on Internet Explorer 6 and it would be great if we could get them all onto the reportedly brilliant new version of the Microsoft browser. The thing is, all the time there are people on the old version, we still have to make sure things work for them. Damn!

At least we should see a majority of people moving towards the new browser - maybe a rush similar to the Firefox 3 Guiness World Record?
